OTCX and ResonanceX announced an agreement to create a single-login environment to better serve buy-side firms. The fully integrated solution will support exchange of information between:

• Integration with automated pricing
• STP trade booking
• customer-centric performance visualization tools, including lifecycle notifications and alerts

OTCX’s workflow engine and direct connections to most sell-side firms globally enables pricing and straight-through-processing (STP) booking of orders, while ResonanceX provides next- generation performance analytics and lifecycle management modules. The combined offering will enable Asset Managers, Private Banks and Family Offices to benefit from a fully independent solution to design, buy and administer portfolios of structured notes in the most efficient manner.

As technology makes it easier to engage in the price discovery, design and execution of Structured Products in a compliant manner, they are set to become mainstream solutions in the near future. Furthermore, the trend towards broadening access to such products creates a massive need for end-to-end automation, enabling product specialists to focus on value added activities such as structuring and investors education.
