IA Fintech Member Insights: Ffyn

Ffyn, the collaborative fund information platform, is now live. Multiple partners including Aberdeen Standard Investments, Allianz Global Investors, BNP Paribas Asset Management, BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Fidelity International, FundQuest Advisor, Generali France, MAIF, M&G Investments, and Robeco have already signed up to the platform.

Ffyn aims to become a single source of information for the mutual fund industry by bringing together asset managers and institutional investors on a centralised platform where they can access and exchange fund information easily and efficiently.

Using cloud-based and artificial intelligence technologies, Ffyn tracks the latest qualitative and quantitative fund information, delivering it in a standardised format to enable institutional investors to monitor their investments easily and efficiently from one central place.

Richard Jones, CEO and Co-Founder of Ffyn, said: “Investors typically receive information from their fund managers via different channels and in a variety of different formats, making it difficult for them to get a single, meaningful view of their investments. Ffyn has been designed to solve these pain points and enable investors to access personalised and standardised information via a single channel. By bringing the industry together on a single platform, Ffyn will help foster even closer relationships between fund managers and their investors.”

The platform has been co-created with partners in order to address the specific needs of all participants in the mutual fund distribution chain:

  • Institutional investors get an aggregated and up-to-date view of all their fund investments, enabling them to monitor their providers in one place. Ffyn also enables them to control the information flow from asset managers based on their preferences.
  • Asset managers can easily tailor their communications to investors’ specific requirements.
  • Compliance teams get an aggregated view on the full chain of messages related to each fund for greater operational efficiency.

Jean Devambez, Chairman and Co-Founder of Ffyn, said: “We have worked closely with our partners to deliver a platform that combines strong business expertise and cloudtechnologies. Ffyn has been designed to make onboarding very easy and deliver immediate
benefits in day-to-day activities. Our ambition now is to quickly grow our user community in Europe and beyond.”

Ffyn has been incubated and is supported by BNP Paribas Securities Services. Find out more about Ffyn here.
